A neighborhood located in North Dallas Texas bordered on the south by the city of University Park, Texas. Preston Hollow is home to many wealthy people in Dallas and a certain former president of the United States. Many of the residents in Preston Hollow take advantage of how close the proximity it is to top private schools in the city.
In 1850 where the first settlers began receiving land grants for Preston Hollow’s land. Many of them were the Lively family on Guersney Lane, the Howell family, and the Meaders family. In 1920 the first people started moving to Preston Hollow for residential purposes. Former U.S President George W. Bush was from Preston Hollow. Many prominent and wealthy people also came from Preston Hollow such as Ross Perot, T. Boone Pickens, American Airlines chairman Bob Crandall, and software developer Larry Lacerte.
